Prince tweets a new song inspired by Baltimore protests

Pop legend Prince released a new song called "Baltimore" on Saturday, honoring 25-year-old Freddie Gray whose death sparked protest and riots in the city.

Prince will perform the song on Sunday at "Rally 4 Peace," a concert at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore. The legendary pop star offered followers of his newly activated Twitter account a sneak peak of the track when he tweeted it on Saturday.

The song opens with the lines: "Nobody got in nobody's way / so I guess you could say it was a good day / at least a little better than the day in Baltimore. / Does anybody hear us pray / for Michael Brown or Freddie Gray? / Peace is more than the absence of war." Read more...
