As Apple reportedly readies for the launch of its Beats music streaming service next month, Spotify plans to get out ahead of the unveiling with a little news of its own.
The Swedish-based company sent an invitation to members of the media on Thursday for an event that will be held on Wednesday, May 20 in New York City. The tagline on the green invitation is straightforward: "we've got some news."
