Aerial photographs capture the stunning beauty of Los Angeles at 10,000 feet

In the City of Angels, one photographer received an heavenly view.

Vincent Laforet has flown all around the United States capturing stunning aerial images above New York, Las Vegas and San Francisco. His most recent and largest photo series to date is a breathtaking view of Los Angeles' sprawling metropolis. The second largest city in the U.S. revealed its winding streets and hillside to Laforet as he flew at an altitude of over 10,000 feet by helicopter snapping the endless landscape.

Los Angeles was unlike like any other city Laforet had shot before. The lack of nucleus and random streets cutting the city in half made it his hardest series to shoot as well as his most beautiful. The city also had more land area than all of the previous cities he'd visited combined, making it extremely difficult to capture everything in just a single one hour flyover. Read more...
