Ryan Adams finally gave the hecklers what they've always wanted — a cover of Bryan Adams' 1985 hit "Summer of '69."
His acoustic rendition Tuesday at Ryman Auditorium comes almost 13 years after he memorably booted a man from his 2002 show at the same Nashville venue for rudely requesting he play "Summer of '69."
Some concert-goers, jokingly or ignorant to the fact that it's not his song, have continued to request or expect he perform the tune over the years.
