Documents released Tuesday by WikiLeaks to French outlets Liberacion and Mediapart purport to show that the United States' National Security Agency (NSA) spied on the last three French presidents.

French news website Mediapart reports that the spying, which extended to other French political officials and civil servants, including the French Ambassador to the United States, occurred over a span of 10 years from 2004 until 2014.
