Lululemon recalls 300,000 drawstrings that injured customers

Time to postpone your workout: Canadian retailer Lululemon Athletica has issued a safety notice recalling more than 300,000 drawstrings in their tops in the United States and Canada due to seven reports of face and eye injuries.

The athletic gear company reports that the products affected are "Lululemon tops with elastic drawcords that have hard metal or plastic tips in the neck area, primarily sold prior to 2014." The products were sold at Lululemon stores, www.lululemon.com, and select retail partners from between January 2008 and December 2014. The drawstring tips can "snap back and make contact with guests's faces" if they are stretched or pulled. Read more...
