Canadian media head slams a form of piracy her own daughter uses

The head of one of Canada's biggest media companies publicly denounced piracy, but it happened in her own home

Bell Media's new president, Mary Ann Turcke called ways to get around restricted content 'stealing,' according to The Globe and Mail.

But ironically, Turcke's own daughter uses the very methods she called piracy. Her daughter uses a virtual private network to fool networks into thinking she's in the U.S., where more Netflix content is available, and not in Canada

Turcke doesn't let her daughter off the hook.

“She is 15 … and she was stealing,” she said, according to the Globe. "Suffice to say, there is no more VPNing." Read more...
